Board Appointments

The Atlantic Pilotage Authority is pleased to announce two new appointments and one re-appointment to its Board of Directors.

New to the Board is Kyle Gillis of Hatchet Lake, NS who has been appointed for a 3-year term.  Mr. Gillis is a CPA, CMA, is the Vice-President of Finance at Eigen Innovations Inc. and President of Gillis Financial Inc. Mr. Gillis previously worked for JD Irving and Irving Oil in Saint John, NB.

Also appointed for a 3-year term is John Suresh Selvaraj of Antigonish, NS.  Mr. Selvaraj is a Marine Engineer and Instructor of Marine Engineering at NSCC in Port Hawkesbury.  Prior to this, Mr. Selvaraj was a Fleet Manager at Executive Ship Management PTE Ltd. in Singapore.

Kathryn Craig of Saint John, NB has been re-appointed to the Authority’s Board for a 4-year term.  Ms. Craig was first appointed in 2017 and is Chair of the Governance and Risk Committees and a member of the Audit and Human Resources Committees.

At this time, we thank two outgoing Board Members for their service to this Authority. Alisa Aymar, Financial Services Manager at Comeau Sea Foods, Saulnierville, NS had been a Board Member since 2008. Captain Ed Anthony, a retired marine pilot from St. John’s, NL was first a Board Member from 1994-1998 and then again from 2009. We wish you both the best in your future endeavours.
